Horse Carriage Rides from the Upper West Side
Central Park horse carriage tours from the Upper West Side. Short walk or cab to our 7th Ave & 59th St pickup. Since 1999.
About Upper West Side
The Upper West Side stretches from 59th Street north to 110th Street along Central Park's western edge. If you're staying at a UWS hotel, Airbnb, or you live in the neighborhood, you're at the top of Central Park — and our pickup is at the park's southern edge. The 1 subway, the B/C subways, and Central Park itself all offer easy routes south to our stand at 7th Ave & 59th St.
Where we pick up
Our pickup is at 7th Avenue and Central Park South — at the very bottom of the Upper West Side's reach. From 72nd Street, it's a 15-minute walk south through the park or a 5-minute subway ride. From 96th Street or higher, take the 1 train south to Columbus Circle then walk 2 blocks east.
How to get here from Upper West Side
Fastest route from the Upper West Side is the 1 subway: take it south to 59th St–Columbus Circle, then walk east along the south side of 59th Street (2 blocks) to our 7th Ave pickup. Alternatively, the B/C subway to 72nd Street puts you inside the park — a pleasant 15-minute walk south through the park takes you past Strawberry Fields and the Lake before arriving at our pickup.
